Pricing

Billing should never be a mystery, and you shouldn't have to jump through hoops to inquire about an hourly rate. Our approach to billing is straight forward:

We charge an hourly rate of $110.00 per hour, plus HST and disbursements. This rate is considerably lower than the cost of competitor rates known to HRinvestigator.ca.

We only charge for the following activities:

• Reviewing evidence and other applicable documentation (such as employer policies);
• E-mail, phone, and any other correspondence with investigation participants;
• Meetings with investigation participants; 
• Contemplation of findings;
• Report writing and editing; and
• Debriefing meetings with employer, when requested.

All other activities are considered unbillable, including any administrative time associated with your file. We do not bill for any e-mail or phone correspondence with the employer, meaning it doesn't cost you anything to check in with us throughout the investigation process. 

Our hourly rate is billed to nearest six minute interval. 

Invoices are typically issued by e-mail at the end of each calendar month, unless other contractual arrangements are made. All invoices are payable in full upon receipt, with interest accumulating on outstanding amounts after 30 days at a rate of 4% per annum, compounded monthly.

• Please note that your financial institution may limit your daily e-transfer amount. We are able to accept multiple transfers across multiple days if needed.
