Jacob is the founder and principal of HRinvestigator.ca.
Jacob holds a law degree from the University of New Brunswick and a bachelor degree in Psychology from St. Thomas University. Jacob practiced law in Prince Edward Island, Canada for approximately 5 years, spending most of that time serving employers while working for a specialized labour and employment firm. Jacob became a certified workplace investigator in 2019, and his legal practice came to have an emphasis on workplace investigations.
After falling out of love with the legal profession, Jacob decided to leave the legal industry behind in 2022 and now focuses solely on his passion for workplace investigations. He maintains his standing with the Law Society of Prince Edward Island as a non-practicing member.
Jacob resides in the Fredericton region of New Brunswick with his spouse Amanda and their three cats. When away from his desk, you are likely to find him soaking in the sights along the Fundy coast or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
